    I love Heise method. Because it makes me think. I solve the cube instead of applying a bunch of rehearsed moves that I don't understand. Small detail: I am a mathematician. This means that I am biased towards anything that mentioned algebra. This method is not the best in terms of speed. It actually quite slow. But it is universal, as it can be applied to any rubik's style puzzle without any modifications. This does not mean that you should love it too. Not at all. It is a method for people who like math, algebra, and who just want to be able to solve the puzzle without memorizing any of the algorithms and to whom the speed is not an objective at all. The method is also good for generating solutions with small average number of moves. but it is nowhere near the god's number.

    It is true that all hypercubers play Celeste. I know this because I am a "hypercuber" and I play Celeste. well technically I haven't solved a 3^4 yet but I have played Celeste therefore I am a hypercuber

    atp we should just invent a machine that makes us go to the 4th dimension and ask 4d aliens to makes us hypercubes or maybe they already did

    In principle you can of course make any cube in 3d (or even 2d) by just having each sticker represented in an arbitrary configurations and defining what permutations you are allowed to make. The gyros seem to be in that spirit. I'm guessing the additional design requirement is that you have to have each 4d piece represented as a single 3d piece and the challenge (beyond actually designing the gyros) is to have cubies that can simulate any 4d rotation with 3d rotations, yielding the same permutation of the stickers as the 4d rotation, right?

  • @dukenukemforever6912
    @dukenukemforever6912 7 днів тому

    You can't really have 4th dimension in space. It has to be time. there are only 3 dimensions in space.

  • @opensocietyenjoyer
    @opensocietyenjoyer 7 днів тому

    i don't deem any of these to be actually physical representations. they allow you to do illegal moves. i expected to see a cube like shape that contains the original 3x3x3

    • @ben_adel3437
      @ben_adel3437 6 днів тому

      well we can't not have illegal moves we're limited by our 3d world so our representation can never work exactly we can't make 4d moves by actually moving the cube in the 4d axis we can only represent it with gyros which changes the colours like we moved in 4th dimension

    • @kemcolian2001
      @kemcolian2001 3 дні тому

      you can do illegal moves on 3x3s as well, like corner twists, sticker peeling, or just taking it apart.

    • @opensocietyenjoyer
      @opensocietyenjoyer 3 дні тому

      @@kemcolian2001 that's a dishonest answer. there are cubes that you can neither corner twist on nor remove any stickers. i just don't like a cube that falls apart if i don't do exactly what is in the rule book

    Step 1: 1st block (roux) Step 2: cross (solve 3 cross edges using R r U gen) Step 3: 3rd pair Step 4: zbls Step 5: zbll Basically cfop or zb but rotationless xxcross with both pairs on left every solve. It’s more efficient than CFOP and is pretty much always 0 or 1 rotations. Could be potential for best OH method. The challenge is inspecting into cross after 1st block. This method is really fun to mess with but I haven’t gotten super fast with it yet.

    • @ThamosProductions
      @ThamosProductions 13 днів тому

      Idk if it’s better than regular zb, but honestly cross after 1st block is so much fun it feels like yau on 3x3.

    • @ThamosProductions
      @ThamosProductions 13 днів тому

      For cross, it’s usually best to start with DF and DB edges and then work in DR edge while doing those. There are times tho when it’s better to include DR edge at the start of cross if it’s convenient.

    • @Epidotemethodofficial

      @Epidotemethodofficial its restricted on ergonomics for 1st block and look ahead for cross but for the benefit of being more efficient and rotationless. Basically same pros and cons as roux.
